PTZ Speed when panning

Howdy all,

My newest issue.

When I activate the option to PTZ my IP Camera, this is what happens. I can go up and down at normal speed. If I go right or left slowly, it will move at normal speed. If I pull it more to the right or left (using mouse or joystick device), it takes up in warp speed.

Here's some stats if it helps:

We use Mirasys for our platform and the IP cameras in use are 50232XANR and 52C232XANR models.

I attempted to login through the IP address of the camera and adjust the PTZ speed and the Pan speed and it doesn't help. That "warp speed" thing is still occurring.

Has anyone had an issue like this? Or knows of some possible troubleshooting ideas?

What NVR are u using?

The speed is sent as a parameter by whatever device is sending the PTZ movements. Check your NVR also. I know blue Iris has a setting for it.

Does that mean you still experience 'warp speed' when moving the camera around via the web GUI (logged in through the cam ip)? Even after adjusting the motion speed?

Has this happened from day one with the set-up described, or did it start more recently?
