I've never updated any of my Dahua cameras for fear of breaking them. However, I want to upgrade some of them, as some of the release notes do actually fix things. I am trying to update the firmware on my PTZ1A4M-4X S2 camera and have downloaded the firmware from Andy's site (all cameras were bought through him on Amazon or his new store) here: Download Firmwares.
It says there's a new firmware for my camera: PTZ1A4M-4X-S2 with the release notes here:
However, when I go up upgrade the camera through the web UI, it says invalid package and reboots. I was able to upgrade a few of my other cameras (standard T5442 cameras) without issue, so I it very much seems like an issue with this specific firmware.
Is there something I'm missing or need to try differently?
