Hi all,

New to the forum because i can't find the solution myself.

Two things
i want Hikvision to write directly to the NAS (and not use the surveillance station)
I want camera-01 to react the same way as camera-02 (because 02 is working as i want)

Qnap TS-453 Pro
Camera-01 = 2CD2612F (Hikvision V5.4.0 build 160530)
Camera-02 = 2CD2742FWD (Hikvision V5.4.4 build 161125)

On the NAS i've created a user group 'CCTV' with two users: Camera-01 (quota 100GB) and Camera-02 (quota 800GB)
Also (on the NAS) i've created the directory CCTV\Camera-01 and CCTV\Camera-02, including passwords etc.
Camera-02 is now able to reach the corresponding directory and is recording and playing, Camera-01 is not, ??? not even seeing the directory.
I've done all the same on each camera/user

changing the quota does not help

I've also tried:
- Unplug camera-02
- Change the path in camera-01 (Record File Settings), save etc.
- Unplug camera-01
- Plug back in camera-02 (boot)
Even than, the settings from camera-01 are visible in the 'Record File Settings' from camera-02
So it has something to do with Qnap or OSX as i don't believe data stays in the cable when unplugging a device :)

I'm freaking out as i have no more options to think of, pls help

regards
M.
