I use the motion activated sprinklers mainly for keeping cats out of the yard but they work great for keeping Raccoon's from climbing the fence and getting into mischief too. :D

 
We had a raccoon accidentally locked in our building over night once, it seriously almost ripped the door off from the inside. They are something else, I have seen a raccoon wadding through the 6 inch water in the creek near my house.
Hmmm, this would be good for a jackass neighbor, haha
 
They're tough little critters. I wouldn't want to be locked in a building with one.

I think these raccoon's weren't afraid of the water so much as they were of the noise that the sprinkler makes when it starts up.

I had a lot of problems with cats until I got a couple of motion activated sprinklers. This video is what made me decide to go that route. :peaceful:

 
Yep, it was this Aussie's video that convinced me to use a motion activated sprinkler deterrent for cats. The only difference is that I didn't disassemble my truck to accomplish it. :laugh:
