The view and the scenery in my area isn't that great, but here's a demo of the new re-branded Dahua 12X PTZ camera that was discussed in another thread here.

Ignore the dog doing his thing. At first I thought it was a black bear.

Thanks for posting the sample clip, you think it was worth it for the price? It's got no inbuilt IR has it?

Yes, I think it's worth the price, especially if the rebate goes through. After receiving the rebate the camera would end up only costing about $54.

It has very good low light sensitivity, so internal IR's are not really needed in the location that I have it installed. There are street and house lights that help it in the dark. I may eventually get a IR illuminator to assist it at night, although it doesn't do too bad without the IR's.
