rebadged DS-2CD2185FWD Firmware upgrade problem

Hello I am having problems upgrading above hikvision firmware 5.5.51 build 180326.

the camera is a rebadged DS-2CD2185FWD
Encoding is 7.3 build 180205
Web version is 4.0.1 build 170711

I have tried several higher firmware versions all with no luck. I am attempting the updates via web browser (iexplorer 9) and keep getting an error messages. Failed to get the upgrading progress.

I have been advised to try scottlambs tftpd. However I am new to all this and I must be doing something wrong.

I am using a windows 10 laptop with the camera connected directly with POE. I have downloaded scott lambs files to c drive and unzipped the hikvision firmware to the same location. I have installed python and changed the laptops IP address to 192.0.0.128.

However the instructions and commands on GitHub aren’t for using in windows? Any help as I am stumped at this early stage.

I did try command prompt and did python hikvision_tftpd.py but I get this error

Syntaxerror: invalid syntax

Any help appreciated

The problem was I had right clicked saved file from GitHub rather than copying the code into an editor and then saving. All updated and working
