Wireless is not my choice ( I know the drawbacks). This system is to monitor my parents (89 & 87) both of which were in the E-room & Hospital last weekend at the same time due to falls.
My Sister takes care of them but also works. Sister wants a wireless system she can have within a a few days delivered (Amazon, Best-buy etc.). Sister has enough technical knowledge to handle wireless install.
There are more reasons than I care to go into about hard wiring for a system.
My sister has done her research and is looking at the following:
Netgear Arlo Pro 2 (minimum 4 cams. 6 cams more likely)
2 way audio is a must (sisters requirements)
She wants to go totally wireless (including the power source and it's a loosing battle on my end to try otherwise)
Any other system recommendations ?
this system DOES NOT need DVR and is really not a security camera setup.
My thoughts is that down the road once sister encounters the pitfalls of totally wireless i could make changes (like powerline adapters etc.).
