Recommendations? Absolute basic Home Assistant NVR add on/integration, or else most basic NVR software (pi, pc, or even docker)?

TL;DR: As the question states, any recommendations for a HomeAssistant add on or else no frills NVR that basically only does continuous video recording/playback, or else just recording? This would be as a backup to my full scale blue iris PC in case of power outage.

I've finally finished my fully wired home network complete with POE switch powering my cameras. Everything is on a UPS except for my blue iris PC (Dell "Office Liquidation Special") NVR. It's built according to specs recommended here, but it draws a bit more power than I'd prefer to have running on the UPS during a power failure.

My home assistant runs on a dell optiplex micro, and I have enough headroom on that to add something basic on or else run something in a docker container. Nice thing about HA would be the ability to monitor power and trigger the recording only in case of power failure, but maybe y'all have better experience with that to say whether its a good idea. Other than that would be something that could run on a pi or similar barebones optiplex - something cheap. TIA.

A couple of folks on here have been using Frigate which was built as a HA add-on and now is a stand-alone VMS. It probably does more than you want but is supposed to be easy on the CPU and memory if you're not running AI.
