Recording 24/7 and saving clips

Folks - planning my first blue iris system. Can I save the 24/7 recording for 6 cameras but simultaneously save the motion clips for a longer period of time like 2 months? Will it result in too many clips (I may also look into Sentry AI) to filter down the clips that are saved are indeed where humans are detected

Pretty sure you can. It's all in the recording settings.
Not sure if cloning is needed.
More knowledgeable folks will chime in.
