Getting the hang of it
I've the Dahua 5231 and 5831 both of which have very bright IR light at night which washes out a person's face with to much "White". I know the image can be dimmed by playing with some exposure settings but is it possible to control the "voltage" of the IR light to reduce its intensity from say 5W to 1W? If this is possible than perhaps Blue Iris could trigger this upon motion at night or a trigger could execute and use SSH to login to the camera and adjust these settings...
