Its been a while since Iooked at running Rekor Scout/OpenALPR with a GPU. Has this gone anywhere? is it recommended yet?

Since question, are most of you guys running Rekor Scout on the same machine as BI?

I've never tried it since I run it in a Linux VM. CPU usage for me is very light. The Scout VM averages 30% daytime usage and 15% nighttime usage over 4 cores assigned to it.

I do not believe they have done anything to improve performance with GPU.

I have not seen any updates suggesting it and the last time I tried, the CPU was higher offloading it to the GPU than simply using the GPU.

I experienced an issue I guess with a power blip or something that reverted one of my cameras to a D1 resolution and shockingly OpenALPR could still read them all, so I downrezed for OpenALPR purposes and took a load off the CPU in the process.

You have tight enough FOV and great Texas Plates that I think you would have great results as well.
