RF based

I just saw a show on National Geographic Channel called Hacking the System: I have 2 Foscam cameras (FI9821P and FI8906W) run by BI.
He said "if camera is RF based it can be hacked. What is the term RF based mean and do I need to worry?

Radio Frequency? I think maybe they are saying Wireless Based?

Why not just expand that statement to "if camera is computer based it can be hacked"?

I would not worry about it as long as you use wpa2 encryption for your WiFi and it isn't using a weak passkey.

The bigger 'worry' is that its so easy to block wifi signals and make the cameras pointless
