Hello everyone,

I'm Kyle from Rhode Island. Currently I have 4 ACTi camera's 3 E33's and 1 E34 all being recorded to a dedicated i7-3770. I also have a home automation system (Vera 2) controlling a number of lights, door locks, and the Garage doors. That system is also integrated with my DSC alarm system.

Hi @Kyle, welcome to the site! Sounds like you have a nice system going! What software are you using to record your cameras? I'm hoping to get more into home automation this summer.

I use their NVR 3.0 software, works pretty good so far. Home automation is really nice, I showed a few guys from work my system and they all ordered a Vera 3 and love it. Only downside, home automation can get a little expensive.
