I love the part where she goes to a "premium" apple authorized store where they send the devices to "apple" mexico, where it get repaired and charge a fee for doing nothing.
This shit had been discussed by louis several times. There are many scammers in the US who are also using recall programms from apple and charge you for "repair" ...
What you might think... apple give you a new logicboard, but louis also showed in some videos that these "repaired" devices have refurbished parts...
So there must be another company in... china ... who refurbish the parts which "apple" mexico change

Yup, Apple bull crap about customer safety is the reason not to allow anyone to repair.
Similar to the Oregon bull crap that not allowing self serve gas is about customer safety. Except when the attendants weren't reporting to work during the heat wave earlier this summer it was ok for a few days.
Yeah, we did a PNW camping tour in 2019, Oregon was different. Fueling my Class A DP at a truck stop had some different reporting numbers to enter at the pump, but fueling yourself was how it was done. But a few days later I had pulled into a station to get gas in my Jeep and began fueling it myself and got yelled at by a worker there. I had no idea that I could not self serve. I explained that to him and he saw my Texas plates and mumbled something about Texans and took over. I told him about the diesel truck stop being self serve and he basically called me a liar, but not directly.
