Two bike riders noticed a large quantity of screws in the street in front of our neighbor's house. This neighbor asked me if my security cameras could determine how they got there. It turn's out they may have been thrown out the window of a moving vehicle just before it enters the camera frame. You can see some movement right next to the driver's door outside mirror in one of the video frames. You can also see the screws flying through the air as the vehicle passes through the video frame.
