help!

i use ONVIF device manager to get the rtsp stream info from the live view.

rtsp:/10.0.60.28/onvif-media/media.amp?profile=profile_1_h264&sessiontimeout=60&streamtype=unicast

when i add the name password to the beginning and plug that into vlc it works.

rtsp:/xxxx:xxxx@10.0.60.28/onvif-media/media.amp?profile=profile_1_h264&sessiontimeout=60&streamtype=unicast

but when i use blue iris, and use the identify button with rtsp it gives me:

Opening 10.0.60.28 port 80...

Done

then when i click ok, i get no signal.

if it helps, from the onvif device manager logs below i see my pc isn't connecting properly?

yes i tried the axis setting. that didn't work so i figured i would try the rtsp setting.
i'm beginning to think that axis cameras just don't work with blue iris.
do you have another suggestion?

normally i will say delete and add camera again..
else it's something to do with the encoding h264 only not h264+ or something funny.. but i really dont know.

but maybe email BI support ?

I dont have a solution but for the recent camera i got (not axis) i got exactly the same problem.

so i tried to play around with the video settings , eg change codec
reduce FPS to small amount eg 5fps
try to play the substream ..
shutdown bi / reboot pc

and it worked but i dont know what i did to make it show up in bi.
