saving config error

I have a Hik that errors every time I try to save the config in a web browser. I normally get device error pop up and another odd issue was trying to grab the plugin from the camera seems to kill it never would start the download and I could not navigate any tabs in config pages BUT the video stream never stopped.
Any ideas? and thank you for any assistance

I've had this issue for weeks and as soon as I post the camera saves fast and fluid.... yea I have no idea
 
The only problem I've ever had in saving NVR or camera config files is improperly naming them. Can't have spaces, and if I recall, capital letters do the same thing. There are a couple of things that have caused errors in the past but I just can't recall all of them. I do know that saving the config files as "nvrconfig" and "camconfig" has worked for me.
