SD1A203T-GN Cam went red

My SD1A203T-GN cam picture now has a red hue. I updated the firmware and it was good for a few days now its back to red. Rebooting doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Typically that means the IR cut filter is stuck in the off position. (mechanical filter)

1- Slap it hard a few times
2- Cycle between day/night (color vs B&W) numerous times rapidly

That is the classic case of the IR filter stuck.

Bang on the camera a bit and it usually loosens it.

Slapping it didn't seem to help, however cycling day/night mode did the trick

I had this happen with a mini PTZ.
Manually switching fixed it temporally.
2 weeks later it was either fully in place or stuck half way. Ended up with a replacement unit.
