We're still without mains power, but sky cams are still on the job. Last time this size outage happened it was an 11 day outage in my area.

PNW bomb cyclone time lapse. Wind direction during bomb cyclone is reverse from usual prevailing. That likely contributed to the numerous tree falls as the trees grow strongest against usual prevailing wind direction.

Power outage after Bomb Cyclone reduced light pollution and created better than usual star field visibility.

Nice. What camera is that and what kind of exposure/gain settings?
Loryta Color 4KT's

-----
My sky cameras are set up primarily for getting footage for time lapse. So, the frame rate for encoding is only 3 FPS. That also keeps the camera from varying its frame rate as exposure time adjusts up. The Color-4KT will drop its encoded frame rate if exposure time becomes too long enough. That would wreak havoc during editing. Set the camera to get the most image information without clipping or "hot pixels." Do gamma correction in your video editing program to compensate for elevated black levels.

Settings are below. During darkest night, adjust your gain limit slightly up/down to get max exposure without producing fixed, white pixel noise.

Encode H.264H, 3 FPS, I-frame interval 6, CBR @10240

Image settings all at 50, except saturation 55, sharpness 20

Exposure: Anti-flicker outdoor, mode manual, shutter custom 0-333, gain 0-50, exposure comp 50, 3D NR on, 3D NR 44, 2D NR20
(Gain is the most critical here)
