I have logged on to IPCAMTALK numerous times, trying to gain enough information to purchase and assemble a good security camera system for my farm. However, I sign out every time defeated and confused by system complexity, abundance of hardware options, and the multiple diverse opinions of members. So I'm giving up . I need help from a professional. I don't care much about recording video. I live in socialist Washington state, and the authorities here have no interest in protecting private property by prosecuting thieves. I need something to detect intruders and alert my cell phone so I can go out and run them off or shoot them. I'd also like to be able to activte a loud siren in the event of a prowler.
