Seeking issue.

I have a Dahua NVR5432-4KS2 NVR and I use gDMSS on my phone. My Nvr is set up for motion detection. When I try to seek in a motion detection clip it jumps to different times and not the time I am trying to look at. Has anyone seen a issue like this before? It happens on the app more than the NVR but the NVR does it also. I have a link to a video of it doing it.

Thanks for any info you may be able to provide.

Playback of events in iDMSS/gDMSS has been broken for almost 2 years. The new version DMSS is better but the UI is so borked I can’t bring myself to use it much.

Try EVOPLUS if it’s still around (may have been only iOS?)

I'll download DMSS now and see what it does. Just annoying that I want to look at something and when I go to the time it happens it just jumps to a random time. I'm also waiting for that dropbox link to connect so I can update my firmware on the NVR itself.

Dmss is better but I agree, just hate the UI overall. I have had this issue in the past and oddly, just rotating the tablet to landscape got things lined up. You can pinch the time line to zoom in as well. Since I got my new nvr and cameras I haven't had the issue. Your cameras and nvr time of day are in sync too? The camera isn't onvif and out of sync?

We just had a hurricane so they had water plus having dirt work done so everything is dirty haha. Need to clean all the cameras really. This is IPC-HDBW4631R-S cameras. I wish I didn't get domes but will probably move these into my shop to have them not get dirty. I just installed blue iris on my PC and it's works just like I want. Just don't know if I wanna do that till the trial is up.

Best of luck with getting through all these hurricanes. Now I understand your situation. BI is a great tool, I would highly recommend.

So far I like the UI and how it does the motion. Just doesn't look like it looks for motion in the whole camera picture. Than again I installed the trial and let it go so I'm sure if I got in there to fool with the settings it would work better.
