Hi, I am new to this forum i just have a query to see if anyone has set up a Hikvision DVR to a EERO router?
I got called out to a job earlier today who have recently had there router replaced and moved.
The customer had told me she had the router moving and that i would have to extend the hard wired cat5 cable.
upon arrival i extended the cable and tried plugging into the eero router using SADP i couldnt see the DVR.
if i plugged the cat 5 directly into my laptop using SADP i could see the recorder.
tried to look at using the app to see the lan port options.
the eero is connected to a Open reach Fibre point with one single LAN port going from the EERO to the fibre point.
would a network switch resolve this issue?
The recorder is also set to DHCP.
i hope someone can resolve this issue with me.
