setup issues

Hello,

I'll start off by saying, I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing.

Picked up an NVR4108-8P-4KS2, delivered today.

I am incredibly lost when trying to get the NVR to pick up the cameras. I have no clue how to get the nvr to recognize and stream a camera. I plugged the cam in with the PoE cable. NVR is plugged into ethernet cable to wall.

When I hit "device search" nothing comes up. If I go to Manual Add, I have no clue what to enter. I got this advice from Google but it doesn't work, entering the IP address to 172.16.13.55.

I just started changing a bunch of ip addresses I found on a tutorial. Got a bit closer but again, no clue what I was changing.

What kind of cams do you have? are they new out of the box? I see from your picture its finding a cam on a 175.x.x.x subnet. That is part of your issue. If possible do a factory reset on the cams and try again. If your cams are brand new you might want to read this thread about registering your cams first.
