Should i upgrade the firmware on a NVR5216-4KS2

Just like the title says, Should i upgrade the firmware on a NVR5216-4KS2?

Its currently running 4.000.0000001.5 Build date of 2019-12-18
web version 3.2.7.124928
onvif v2.4.1
security build v2.0
I do have a version 2.0 sticker on the bottom

The main reason i want to upgrade it is so i can backup recordings in mp4 format on a usb stick. Ive read a ton of bad post about boot loops and after a upgrade though. what version was that released in and is it stable? anyone have a link to it?

I have the 16P version of that and updated it to the one shown on Dahau's website at the time which was
V4.002.0000000.3.R, Build Date: 2022-03-22

Just wanted to say that I updated it and it all went well. I used a USB flash drive that was fat32 and put the firmware file on it. Put it in the front usb slot on the nvr and went through the upgrade screen and then just left it alone for a bit while it did it thing. Now i have a lot more settings and a somewhat different layout on things but most importantly for me though, I can now save files in .mp4 file format.
