Sleepy Driver Crashes Into Sand Barrels

....and after surveying the damage then pulls in at the speed of molasses in January when another car is coming...maybe trying for 2?
They have "funny" thresholds....when I hit that 300 lb. buck on Christmas Eve 2019 dead-on at 55 MPH with my 2017 Ford Escape, the airbags did not deploy. BUT....the clutches in both front seatbelts were burned out and would not hold at all (my body shop guy showed me).
EDIT: This is what those seatbelts did (I'm on coumadin).
The Escape fared worse, $11K damage (totalled):
