Small PTZ option to work with Hik NVR and Software

I'm running into a challenging mounting situation at a client's that may necessitate a PTZ smaller than the: DS-2DE4220-AE3. What are my options for integrating a non-Hik PTZ? My current setup is as follows:

DS-7716NISP NVR x 2
DS-2CD2732F-I Dome Camera x 25
DS-2DE4220-AE3 PTZ Camera x 1

Any ideas would be appreciated!

In the end it all comes down to the NVR's programming. Was it designed to control only Hikvision PTZs through a proprietary API?

Can it control a PTZ via a serial connection using some Pelco protocol?

Does the NVR claim to support ONVIF PTZs?

Sorry I can't be of much help; I don't own a Hikvision NVR and have no plans to own one.
 
Outside of the DS-2DE4220-AE3 being too big for your application, how do you like the camera?

I'm looking to find a DS-2DE4220-AE for outdoors.
 
We had it running at our office for a few days and it seems very good. I wish the client hadn't made such a big deal about the size. Really, it's no bigger than a recessed light can. Life would be easier without clients sometimes...
