I have installed smartPSS v2 003.0000004.0 in my Windows 10. Previously with the same configuration the connected devices were online and accessible but since last week whenever I try to access the DVR/XVR all devices are showing offline. I still can access them from my mobile device using DMSS, so they are actually online. Ia there any solution out there?

Is the DMSS access via the NVR, or direct to the cameras? Looking at the screenshots I can't tell if you're trying to access the cameras directly or through the NVR. Anyway, the first thing I'd try is editing one of the devices, making sure the target IP address is correct, and retyping the password. Another thing to try is pinging the devices from the win 10 command prompt.

SmartPSS is basically the same crappy software that the Lorex NVR uses and it really sucks because I have the same issue. I've never found a way to fix it and usually just wait awhile and it magically starts working again. I've also tried it on multiple PC's and had the same problem, so I don't think it's anything PC related rather than a software bug that they'll never fix.

I believe I've identified the problem. It's not related to SmartPSS, my Windows firewall, or antivirus software; instead, it appears to be an issue with my internet service provider. Today, I attempted to install SmartPSS on another laptop and connect to my home Wi-Fi network, but I still couldn't get the devices online.

However, when I connected the laptop to my mobile hotspot, which uses a different internet service provider, I noticed that my remote XVR devices started showing as online. I've reached out to my ISP and requested them to investigate whether the IP addresses (47.74.188.221 and 47.74.157.160) of the Dahua server are being blocked. If they are indeed blocked due to excessive data traffic from these IPs, I've asked them to unblock them. Although I haven't received a response with a report yet, I believe this is the root cause of the issue.

I will provide updates once I confirm whether unblocking the IP addresses resolves my problem.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone for the valuable suggestions you've offered.

See if a recent Windows 10 update changed your Internet connection "properties" from "Private" to "Public".

I'm running Windows 10 and Windows 11 on two different PC systems and both intermittently have the same issue. I've also duplicated the issue on PC systems both at work and at home. I still think it's a software related bug, which is only one of many in that software application.
