Is there a way to setup a password so all you can do is view cameras ?

Yes,
Read the help manual in SmartPSS, User/Role Info -begins on page 72 on my version. You setup another user, call it say "ViewOnly" and assign what functions that user has access to, such as "Live View" and thats all that user can do.

I found that area, I had originally set it up for auto login to Smartpass with admin. Trying to figure out how to change that .

When I set it up and it added the shortcut icon on desktop it logs in automatically.
I am trying to figure out how to change the auto login to another user to view only.
My wife and daughter can just click shortcut and see cameras without leaving interface for controls up.

Up at the top right, choose the little people icon and "Switch User" The program will close and then relaunch by itself, there you can set auto login or not..
