Source of Lenses with 22mm Thread

I recently picked up a 4k-X in 3.6mm intending it to replace my 4mm HikVision 2743G (first version). I was lead to believe the lens was probably a 16mm S-type (basically like an M12 lens, but 16mm barrel). I found it to be waaaaaaaaaay further than the 4.0mm in terms of zoom. In fact, I am wondering if it is even a 3.6mm at all. Here are the two cams through a foggy glass window with their bodies touching.

Anyway, rather than immediately return the item, I did my normal thing of taking it apart to see how it works and to see if there's anything I can change.

I discovered that the 4k-X uses a lens with a reduced thread (22mm) and a larger main body (26mm). Some searching lead me to a single option which may or may not be the proper pitch (0.5mm might be more coarse than the 4k-X uses). THis seems to be a very similar profile in terms of dimensioning to the factory lens (though with an extra 'belt' of reduction in the middle)

The factory lens fitment can be seen in this post on the 4k-X thread. https://ipcamtalk.com/threads/worlds-first-review-dahua-ipc-color4k-x-dh-ipc-hfw5849t1-ase-led-full-color-4k-camera.57013/page-29#post-593087

Is anybody aware of a name for this or a source of options for 22mm mounts? If this is the 3.6mm view, then realistically the 6mm version of this camera will not be enough to catch the gate / cars/motorcycle and identify anything any better than the existing Hikvision. Since lighting in the area is a challenge and I cannot mount exterior floods (condo liiiiiife) but I need something to identify different state license plated (no IR only because all plates look like a white rectangle) I am searching for a lens. The 4k-X was chosen because it seemed more likely to have easier lens swaps than the 4k-T while providing IR filtering for regional license plate ID (at least the state from colors/styling) while providing a larger sensor. I don't mind if it protrudes from the camera body, as these cams will live indoors.

The Sunex is a 7mm lens which might get me.... what I already have with the Hikvision.

Edmund optics has an m22 male to C-Mount step-up adapter which seems like it might be the best option; but only if the back focal length is very near the 17.65mm distance required for c-mount, or slightly over so a cs-mount spacer can be fitted.

I tried to see if anybody played with these cams and lenses but found a whole lot of nothing. Any input on options would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
