Hi all
hope someone can help me here,
I have BI setup in one location on a i7 computer but i have another location with only 4 cameras Hikvision bullet 4mp. I have 2 older i5 computers I have cleaned up and updated from windows 8.1 to 10 they have the following speck.

HP desktop business computer.
processer = intel (r) core i5 6500 cpu @ 3.20GHz
8gb ram 7.90 usable (can upgrade to 16gb if needed
250gb SSD hard drive for system and blue iris DB
sata 2tb hard drive for files
64BIT OS X64 based processor

Acer
Processor = intel (r) core i5 3330 cpu @ 300GHz
6gb ram (would upgrad to whatever needed)
1tb sata HHD partitioned 500 x 500
64bit os x64 based processer

Got all this from "about pc" on both computers anyone think one would be any good to run 4 cameras and save me putting out £----- on a i7 machine.
any help would be greatly appreciated guys....

Yes that will work.

Just make sure to use the substreams and follow over optimization:

Thanks Wittaj do you think both would work as I may need one at another location?

Yes, people are running 18 cameras on a 3rd gen just fine with substreams at sub 30% CPU.

The RAM is a little low, but 4 cams should be fine.
