Camera worked flawlessly until my router died and I tried to bind it to my cable company's ARRIS modem/router.
The setup is normal until after I select the router and enter passcode. Then it goes to " Loading...please wait" forever.
This is happening to all three cameras.
No issue with the router and other devices newer and older than the cameras
I can confirm the password as I use it on other devices.
I have the latest android update and longer passwords.

Two things:
1) Not a lot of love for Sricam devices here.
2) Combo modem/routers are terrible.

These two things together almost guarantee a bad experience.

My personal suggestions:
1) Buy a decent standalone router.
2) Buy a decent standalone modem.
3) Buy a decent wireless camera.

Yes, it's a small investment, but it will pay you back in uncompromised stability and reliability for a long, long time.

Could be the type of wireless security on the Arris (WPA, WPA2, PSK, etc.) that the Sricam doesn't like. Try changing, experiment with different ones (just no WEP).

As you know, being wired would avoid the issue.

I agree with the stand alone router. Mine died ( bad DNS handling) so I was in a pinch. Anyway, I did find a solution by rebooting the router a couple times and binding each camera as a new device.
