Getting the hang of it
Have a Linux SBC attached to sensors that monitor my double garage as a standalone application. Looking to have BlueIRIS record sensor events in the camera timeline as a first step towards integration and eventually a dashboard. This is all I need for now.
I assume that adding a Python MQTT stack to the Linux SBC is a good technology choice for what I want but thought I'd first check here first.
Probably will incorporate NodeRed and either home assistant or home seer, but I'm interested in keeping things simple and as maintenance free as possible, so I tend to progress really slowly. Not certain if a standalone BlueIRIS Windows platform or UnRaid docker is the better OS for these technologies. Don't want to disrupt stuff that already works perfectly.
