I have 3 "drives" in my machine. C is my system drive, a 250gb ssd drive. D has the db and New on a 512gb NVMe M.2 drive. E has Stored and Alerts and is a collection of non-surveillance drives put together with DrivePool simply because I had them. It's set to make 3 copies of each file. The "other" files on E are the copies of the 9.76tb Stored files. I have the limit to be 10tb but I could bump that up to 14tb if needed. Alerts is empty.

My plan was to upgrade the M.2 drive to a 2tb M.2 drive. Would I be better off switching the M.2 for something like a 14tb WD Purple Pro, putting all the BI directories on there, and letting BI delete the oldest files from New rather than moving them from New to Stored?
