Good Afternoon,
I am back with another question. Hopefully this one will be an easy fix for some people. How are we supposed to add cameras to iVMS4200(2.3). I have been adding them via their internal, local IP. 192.168.1.X. While doing this I get Live View Failed every single time when I try to pull them up from a remote location. I also am unable to configure the cameras while doing this.
On the other hand, I can add them to remote iVMS4200(2.3) using their external IP, which turns off local playback but it at least lets me configure the device remotely. When I view Device Management through the web portal created by iVMS4200 it looks like this:
Really the bottom line is I need to get remote viewing working and I have been working through this for going on too long with no support from the company. I have run out of ideas and I just need help at this point.
