New to Blue Iris and I am trying to setup substreams on 3 cameras. 2 are ACTI D72 and 1 is an older ACTI TCM7811
All are set as Generic/ONVIF.
Model *RTSP H.264/H.265/MJPG/MPEG4
I have a second stream setup on each camera.
I have read the guide to substreams but I am stumped as to what I need to put under Video for:
Main Stream
Params
SubStreams

If I click Inspect in the Video setup, popup includes "RTSP URI: /stream1" for the D72. Nothing for the TCM7811
Do I enter /stream1 for Main Stream? And /stream2 for SubStream? What about Params?

I see example for other makes but am having problems finding example for ACTI.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'd try /stream2 and /onvif-stream2 based on Connect to Acti IP cameras

If in doubt, you can use VLC media player to test RTSP URLs easily. Just connect to them and if you get a sub stream or a main stream it should be obvious from the resolution of the video.

Thanks for the reply.
I am able to get /stream1 to play in VLC but I am unable to get /stream2 or /onvif-stream2 to play. Let me double check my stream 2 setups on my cameras and keep trying.

Here is what I found works for the substream on my ACTI D72: /onvif&event&video2
In searching, I found that some were using ONVIF Device Manager (ODM) to display the stream UI at the bottom of the display window. Problem for me was ODM would find my cameras but would not display detailed info or the main or sub stream.
I updated the firmware on the D72s and the detailed info and streams could then be viewed in ODM.
I confirmed the main and sub streams in VLC then input the substream path to Blue Iris. All is good :D
I was unable to update the firmware on the discontinued TCM7811 so no substream on that camera. What worked for the D72 does not work for this old camera.

Thanks to bp2008 for the VCL suggestion to get me thinking and eventually find something that works.
