SUV Crashes Thru 2 Front Yards Going Backwards

After the crash, the driver repeatedly tries to drive away. Residents of the 2nd house had to place objects behind the rear tires to keep the SUV in place. Driver finally exits the SUV at the 4 minute and 50 second mark. It took 40 minutes for the police to show up.

Man, I think he was in the tank, big time...easily could have killed someone or others.
I'm also glad he didn't hit that poor old yellow car...possibly a '49 Studebaker Champion 4 dr. sedan.

I think they did the other citizens a service by keeping him off the road and unable to drive his car away. He was so intoxicated that he could not even walk. Great video and thank you for posting it.

Those homeowners took some big risks. Many stood behind the truck having just seen him reverse at speed and whilst he was trying to escape out. Near the end they're even bending down behind the vehicle to put objects under the wheels. If the truck had gained traction, we could have been looking at a fatality.

Have to wonder why it took 40 mins. Surely if other units were engaged, they could have sent 1 unit instead of waiting for 6 to become available.
