I have had this CCTV system, Swann NVR8-7825 since 2015 and have had a Swannview link on my laptop, Windows 10. Recently, I had a problem with my laptop and had to reset it, losing the Swannview Link program. I have downloaded it from the website, and is no dobt a new version. It all looks the same but I am unable to downlaod and recordings to my hard drive. Nothing appears in the folder even though Swannview link says it has been complete. I have moved the destination to my second hard drive and to a USB stick and it is the same. One thing I have noticed is that a new folder has been created on the three drives called 'Rep Temp', so I am guessing this is a permissions issue with Windows 10.
