Sympathy for Racoons?

I don't. They have exactly zero sympathy for me having to repair the damage they cause and clean the mess they make.

I view raccoons, possums, ground hogs, rabbits and squirrels as what they actually are, rodents like mice and rats!

Opossums are marsupials, or pouched mammals, and are related to the kangaroo and the koala. The opossum holds the distinction of being North America's only marsupial.

Still a rodent to me, they behave like rodents pouched marsupials be damned.

When said varmits visit our house, I get alerted on my phone and let the dog out to chase them around a bit.
I really hate primates!

Yes, I have sympathy for raccoons... groundhogs... deer... and whatever else eats my stuff around here. When I kill them, I want it to be as quick and as painless as possible. It's part of being a real hunter. I really hated watching that clip...
