I have no idea how this eluded me this long, but today I was reviewing last nights timeline when I saw the question mark next to the (minimize, maximize etc) at the upper right corner. I decided to click on it thinking it would probably just lead me to some FAQ, but what became interesting was the commentary I found on how the latest edition of Surveillance Station no longer relied on plug-ins, and that it used HTML5. It went on to say that one of the best interfaces was the APP, so I began following those links and ended up at a download page.
From there I clicked on 'All Downloads' which led here -
And hitting the latest version here -
And lo and behold, there was a .dmg ... could there honestly be an OS version, I thought?
So I downloaded it, and it installed .. a little configuring, and now it even uses my GPU to offload processing. Brilliant. Nice not to be held back by browsers any longer.
So far I have found several additional features which I never came across using any browser, on any OS, so this is a nice step forward.
**So if you are on MacOS, download this APP now...
Which demands the Time be moved over to the left now to display that lovely blue "GPU" ..
