Getting the hang of it
Just wanted to say thanks to all the experts here!
We were wanting a new PTZ with good zoom capabilities and night vision. Looked at a cheap brand on ebay and looked for reviews from google. Found ipcamtalk and thankful I did!
We decided on the SD49225T-HN and ordered one from Andy along with the corner bracket and junction box. Ordering a POE+ injector and PS extension cable to power the recommended bullet mic, all from Amazon. I have a wall wart and some cat5, will get get some 1/2" flexible conduit and 90* elbow locally.
Luckily, our computer room is upstairs corner where we want to install. Should be no more than about 10ft. I know I need to use conduit due to the extreme heat we experience down here in S. Texas and being on the SW corner. Just hope the camera can handle it and hold up.
