Just came across this gem as well. Too bad they didn't say the camera brand, but I am sure it is the typical big box, scan a QR code and get going and they couldn't do it....this is exactly why the better cameras of the world do not cater and market the typical homeowner because they will field way too many support phone calls.

This was on the news today from Houston. Guy shot an A/C repairman. This is the security cam shots that the police are using to ask for help in identifying him. This is a cam mounted on the garage pointed at the driveway. He is standing exactly where the cam is pointing for an ID. No idea on the brand.

This was on the news today from Houston. Guy shot an A/C repairman. This is the security cam shots that the police are using to ask for help in identifying him. If he is standing in the spot for a second or so the police can merge the frames together and clean up that picture. However for the camera that is a horrible picture with that much light.

Looks like a super cheap camera, or perhaps a capture from an older camera ..

Today's Nextdoor is someone driving up and stealing ferns of all things...

This is a Lorex system, but it shows how the wide-angle 2.8mm lens gives you a great overview, but not much detail beyond 10 feet.
