This is not an S3, is it?

I wanted to try the newer S3 models, and came across this one used on amazon for a good discount, so I bought it.
But nowhere does it say S3 on the model tag.
That's just the normal older S2, right?

Given the date, nope it isn't.

You will know for sure by the GUI - if it is white/blue it is S3, if it is grey/black/orange it is older.

And also by the mounting base. The S3 has the bigger diameter snap-in base, the old one the clamshell with the torx screw.

I definitely got an S2 then. Its's going back to amazon

As an added note, only the fixed focal S3s have the new mounting base. The S3 varifocal still has the old type base.
