I had a timelapse set up and made a few changes which broke it. Video was coming through ever 40 mins (instead of once per minute) at first and then it just froze. Anyway I backed out of a number of changes and found that direct to disk was the one that made it work again.
Interested why that would be the case but more just wanted to alert folks that may come across this post as TL isn't greatly documented.
