Time Lapse troubles...

Greets. I've reviewed every post I can find here, as well as reviewed the BI help file, but am unable to get BI to generate a time lapse video. The posts here reference older versions of BI, and the latest version's GUI doesn't match what I can find here.

The goal is to have BI create a time lapse video from one camera, with a single frame recorded per minute, for eight hours each day. The best I can achieve is a video that is recording 15 fps (the setting configured directly via the cam's GUI), or no video/file created at all. Rather than rehashing everything I've tried so far, can someone point me to the secret voodoo sauce that gets this working? I know BI is capable of this, but it's kicking my ass at the moment.

Thanks.

I'm not using time lapse, but this should be pretty straight forward to configure. I did do a quick test on this setup and it seems to be working.

Go into BI options and setup a profile specifically for recording a time lapse. For testing I named mine "Time Lapse". Next go into the properties of the camera you want to use for your time lapse video and select the recording tab. Setup all your settings for your time lapse recoding using the time lapse profile and then schedule this profile accordingly.

Here's what I used for my test:

You may have to play around with the record time and adjust it accordingly.

Like @hltljohn said.

Also, it'll record a BVR file in the 'New' folder (default), On the clip viewer at upper right, select 'All' and it will show up. Give it a few minutes and it'll show up.

Thanks for the help, everyone! I'll give these suggestions a shot and follow up in a bit. I appreciate all the responses, especially on such a nice, sunny Saturday (at least here in Las Vegas)!

Works great for me. I have been recording a 5 sec. video every minute (as in my posted image above) for 3 days now.

Also, BI has been FTP 'ing a snapshot of my flagpole every 5 minutes for 2 years now, not a hiccup once that I know of.

And never issues with playback at all?

No. However, in my haste Saturday to test before my reply to the OP, I failed to create and choose a new folder other than the default 'New' so when playing the time lapse, an alert video will come in, too. I'm confident that had I created and directed the time lapse video to a new folder like 'Time Lapse' (duh!) it would contain just those videos and alerts would be in 'New'.
