I have one DS-2CD2032-I left out of 8. Lasted about 7 years. Is this average life span for home cameras? Instead of replacing one for one, I was thinking of trying PTZ's on the corners. I don't need auto-tracking, I would like to have the ability to move the camera at times. I have been eyeing the IPCT-2A4-PTZ. I am currently searching for reviews on it and its longevity.
