Can anyone offer any info on the cause, or how to resolve 'timeouts'? Can be operating several cameras with some using IE11 and others Chrome + IETab. One cam might come up with the 'timeout' message, forcing a re-login, but can then cause other cameras on a different browser to do the same! Camera details, below:

The timeouts appears to be happening regularly at 15 minute intervals, but only on some cameras.

It has occurred to me that these timeouts might be caused by using patrols and patterns, where there are no key presses to signal that there is still a user needing to be logged in! Could this be the case? Is there a setting to override this, or set a longer time setting?

So you are logged into the cam's embedded webGUI for say, 30 minutes, and it logs you off?
Are you using the webGUI in order to view the cam's live video for that extensive period of time?

Not being sure of the terminology, the screen below is what we use. Yes, can be loading several cameras (watching for African wildlife) across different locations. Could be logged into each of them for a couple of hours. On some cams it will log you out every 15 minutes, for the duration! Yesterday, I began to suspect it was because I was using patrols, or patterns, heavily on those cams and wonder if the lack of interaction with the ptz controls, triggers the 'login timeout' messages. I've searched the manual but can't find any reference to 'timeouts'!

Do have a name for the program / software / app that you launch that produces the screen as in your posted image?

It's not a program, you just enter the IP address of the camera and it brings up a login screen, then loads the screen that I showed. Today, i pretty much established that it's mainly one camera that seems to be bringing down the others.

Are you entering that IP address into a browser, such as IE11, Chrome, Firefox, etc. ?

If so, then it's as mentioned in my first post, that's the camera's embedded webGUI (built-in Graphical User Interfaced that you launch and view with a browser, like it was on the Internet), hence the name "webGUI."
