Trigger siren remotely

I'd love to find a way to trigger a siren remotely. I monitor my system and have it dialed in with respect to trigger my SMS notifications. However, I don't have a way to trigger a siren to send out a warning. I'm thinking of using a smart plug to activate the alarm, but the ones I've researched don't seem reliable.

I'm running a Hikvision setup through a NVR that doesn't have additional alarm outputs. I'm also using a Abode security system, which doesn't currently allow you to trigger an alarm remotely. Has anyone had any luck configuring this set up successfully?

I'm actually using Abode to trigger an external Alarm plugged into a smart plug. If my Alarm goes off so does the external siren; in addition, I can trigger the alarm with a push of a button but turning on the smart plug.
