I'm trying to set up a new Blue Iris system on a VM and I can't get push notifications to work to my iphone! This is my second server. I have all the options set the same as my physical server. The ports are forwarded. I can access the cameras even when I'm not on my wifi, but the push notifications won't go through. I'm just running on the demo account for a few days to make sure everything is going to work the way I want it to. There must be some obscure setting or something that I'm missing somewhere, but I can't figure out what it is. Anyone have any ideas?
If I can get everything working I'm going to transition to the VM full time and eliminate my physical server.
edit Fixed it. I was missing a setting. Camera settings/alerts tab/on alert button. And then set up push notifications. Seems to be working now.
