Have you investigated LoRaWan. It's in the 902-928 MHz band.
I have built several networks using that technology. One central
point with with a high-gain omni-directional antenna. AS a quick
reference.
My initial thought was some sort of 'point to point' system like that with antennae's mounted on a small tower. Unfortunately, our area is not very flat and I am not sure what kind of line of sight we would have for the gates. But, this would prevent having to have (7) individual accounts. We just need to find the right company to talk to about this, but this is still going to be several months down the road.

It does not have to be absolute line of sight otherwise, LIDAR would not work! Do you
have a TOPO map and the spots you want to cover? If you think this is a possible solution,
then any of the stations higher than the rest?
