I walked down later and found the 4 shell casings, HPD has them now and are looking for the guy. Just as we were walking down there was a guy walking up the road out of shot and turned around as he saw us, I'm 99.9% sure he had a gun in his hand. HPD are on the lookout for him too

Hopefully, no one got hurt. They need to be arrested and hopefully serve a very long time. Any pics of the driver from the daytime footage ?

At-least plate seems to belong to the right vehicle as per plate lookup sites.

They shot the street, in the clips you can see the dust fly up, and there are clear marks where the bullets hit

Shell casings were right there too

No good shots of the face, windows are very dark

Great shots of the car and plates.

Which plate lookup site is this one from?

Shouldn't be too hard to find provided the car wasn't stolen. Not only do I imagine red BMW's are quite rare in the States but with that accident damage as well it makes it quite unique.

I'm guessing this was a warning to someone given they shot the street.

It looks like your neighbour 1 door down has got himself into something.

As for the guy walking back the next day. maybe he was to be the physical threat at the door. Not very wise coming the day after though.

Not sure what he was using, but I always use Carvana to look up the plate against the make/model/color. You also never run out of searches

The weird thing is that over that way and down the street, its nothing but older people not involved in anything. There is a rental about 10 houses down with some dumpy people, that's all I can think of

Here's the street damage

So the rocket scientists were shooting at the pavement? I guess they just wanted to shoot something but at least didn't shoot into cars or houses.

Richie Rich over here shooting brass case 9mm into the ground, I'd be using steel case for that duty!

Here is HPD responding, they seemed to take is seriously for once

Those bottom 3 look like aggregate sidewalk! Any of those, roadway or s/w, could ricochet into a residence window but especially those on the s/w because of the angle from the roadway, the s/w would absorb less energy and it could easily go into a house, especially a window.

I hope they catch the SOB.

BTW, is it my imagination or is that Beemer squatting somewhat at the rear, both rear wheels cupped in at the top due to its independent rear suspension, like the trunk is full of something pretty heavy?

All in the road, just very very old road LOL

It sure does look like its squatting, but then it could be because it looks like its had a good smack in the rear

Streets are all from the 60's, and then instead of fixing potholes and other issues properly, they just throw Asphalt patch onto every problem. Of course it never fixes the problem and doesn't bond to the concrete, so it makes a mess and lasts less than a year...

Tax dollars at work

Well this is interesting. You guys remember this back in January?

Guess who just drove past. What are the odds that this happens last night, and then that car that hasn't been here in over 6 months drives past the very next day...
